Friday, Sept 7 Today the students wrote their summative essays to close out this unit. As part of the assignment, students will record a FlipGrid video of their writing. The link is posted in CTLS in the announcements. Learning Target - I can talk about myself and others using the present tense and all concepts covered in Spanish 1. Thursday, Sept 7 Here is today's PowerPoint. We learned present tense conjugations and then reviewed for tomorrow's summative to end our review unit. Review Guide Here. I recommend that all students do the practice writing and if they want, I will read over their work tomorrow morning before school or during homeroom. For tomorrow's summative the students can use their vocabulary list and grammar guide (blue sheets) and the possessives (purple). If a student does not have their materials, they will not be allowed to share with a classmate. Wednesday, Sept 6 Today, we finished yesterday's powerpoint, by reviewing gustar. The full notes are on Friday's powerpoint from last week. Here is the practice activity with Gustar. Here is today's PowerPoint. We reviewed IR with al (a el), a la, a las, a los and IR with verbs. The students then completed two activities with GUSTAR and IR in Quia W06. Then we did some activites in our packet. The pages are listed. Here are the audio files: 4A activity 6 and 5A activity 6 We reviewed gustar, ir + a + infinitie and tener que + infinitive. At the end of class students had time to finish the 3rd W06 activity in Quia. Learning Target - I can talk about where I'm going after school or on the weekends or what I'm going to do. Tuesday, Sept 5 Here is today's PowerPoint. Students had about 10 minutes to finish Friday's assignment. It is homework for anyone that didn't finish. Then, Using the powerpoint, we reviewed family vocabulary. We watched a video for this unit: Realidades 4a . We did the comprehension worksheet. Here is the worksheet. Then we reviewed the conjugations of the verb IR - to go: voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van. The students did some practice activities in their packet: Pages 68 and 70. Here is the packet to download.
