Friday - Oct 6 I am out today and there was a sub. The students must finish their online activities from yesterday. They should do CTLS Question word activity and the W09 Saber/Conocer. These are due by the end of the class period, no exceptions. Then the students partnered up and worked on skits for this unit. The students were given the prompts yesterday. We will present these skits on Monday. They will not have any extra time to work on Monday. Use of a translator will result in a 0. Learning Target: I can talk about how long I have been doing my activities and things I know. Thursday - Oct 5 Today we reviewed for the vocabulary quiz. The students took their vocabulary quiz. After the quiz, the students have a W09 Quia activity on Saber/Conocer and a CTLS activity on Question Words. I gave the students some time to work on those and then they were given some questions to translate which will help with their skits tomorrow. Skit Scaffold. The first part is from yesterday, today starts with the Hacer Time Expression section. We did a practice activity (absent students are exempt) and we did some practice worksheets. Worksheet 1 and worksheet 2. Then we learned about SABER and CONOCER. The guided notes are on the back of your vocabulary sheet. Here are the notes. Then we did this practice worksheet. (the first page is the guided notes, the second page is the practice.) Learning Target - I can ask and answer questions in Spanish. Monday - Oct 2 - Today we reviewed telling time (Que hora es) and talking about what time things will happen (A que hora?) Absent students can get the notes from me. We did an activity where we answered 20 questions. Absent students should answer these questions on a piece of paper.
