Friday, Sept 1 Here is today's PowerPoint Today we filled in the "Places" section of our vocabulary list. This is the last review section! Absent students should fill in the meanings of those words. Then we went over the verb IR. We reviewed Gustar and to end class did an activity that is listed on the last page of the powerpoint. Students will have less than 10 minutes on Tuesday to finish the activity, so if they need more time, it's homework. Learning Target - I can talk about my classes and things I have to do using the verbs ser, estar and tener. Thursday, Aug 31 Today the students studied for their quiz and I took up pesos. We took a quiz on ser, estar, tener, classroom items, possessives, prepositions. Absent students can come before or after school (or during HR) to take the quiz. Wed, Aug 30 Today we reviewed for the Quiz. Here is the quiz review. Here are the answers. After we reviewed, the students partnered up and started working on a skit. Tuesday, Aug 29 Today we started reviewing for the quiz that's on Thursday. We did the front of this practice activity to start bringing all the concepts together. (We will do the skit tomorrow). I went over the answers to the adjective agreement activity they turned in last week. Grades are in Synergy. Then the students worked on the two W05 Quia activities. Learning Target - I can talk about the things I have and what I have to do. Monday, Aug 28 Here is today's PowerPoint. We followed the PowerPoint to review Tener and Tener Que, using them in context. We went over the family vocabulary and Possessive Adjectives. Here is the worksheet and vocab for Possessives. To end class, students did the writing assignment listed on the last page of the PowerPoint. Students should focus on the writing rubric they were given previously and try to earn a 5!
